Timah Nature Reserve free guided walk Let a guide really show you the forest! Going on a tour with a volunteer guide is the best way to see and learn more about this special forest. The walk takes you along the short South View trail for a quick introduction to the rainforest. You will learn more about the amazing plant life in a rainforest and how everything fits remarkably together. If you are lucky, you might spot the noisy Drongo with its flashy tail, or even some of the more elusive animals such as the Flying lemur. The unpaved trail goes mostly uphill with many steps cut into the ground. It is suitable for reasonably fit adults and children, but not for those with walking difficulties. Pre-booked guided tours You can also book a guided tour. There is a charge of $60 per group (max 15 persons per group). Up to 2 guides (for 30 participants) can be arranged for a session. At least 2 weeks' notice is required to ensure the availability of the nature guides. More details on the NParks website.
